I purchased this battery for a Westhold track transponder for my racecar. It appeared to be the correct battery. When I plugged in the lug the circuit board got hot, I quickly unplugged it, I noticed the positive and negative were switched on the plug relative to the application. I switched them, the transponder flashed its light and hopefully it works. I will find out when I get to the track.
